Why Another Magazine?

Good question. We asked it too.
The region is full of glossies. Power lists. Cover shoots.
Most say the same thing: she’s amazing.
Nice to look at. Nothing to learn.
So readers flip. They don’t read.
She Means Business is different.
We don’t ask who looks impressive.
We ask three things:
What did she build?
How did she build it?
What can you use from it on Monday morning?
Every story must teach a stranger something. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t run.
Who decides?
A series of panels with star-studded experts. Finance. Law. Engineering. Health. Business.
People who have built and led. Not just commented.
No panelist judges a friend or a client.
Every story is chosen on merit. Nothing else.
Is it slower? Yes. And more intense.
Do we say no to people, even those we like? Yes. Because the room is very focused and selective this time.
That’s the point.
Why it matters
Women across the GCC are doing serious work.
Very little of it is recorded properly.
Too often, you’re seen because of who you know. Not what you’ve done.
Women across the GCC are doing serious work.
Very little of it is recorded properly.
Too often, you’re seen because of who you know. Not what you’ve done.
She Means Business is here to fix that. One story at a time.

So, why another magazine?
The region didn't need another one.
It needed a different one.
She Means Business. So do we.
