The Global Sustainability Awards by Gulf News and BeingShe is an initiative for innovation, leadership and collaboration across the sustainability sector. It is built around the UAE's national vision — including the Net Zero 2050 commitment — and supports the wider movement toward sustainable development.

Judging Criteria
Sustainability is broad. We define clear, measurable indicators across carbon, resource use and waste so the room is judged on what is true, not what is said.

Some sectors are further along than others. The framework protects equal opportunity and invites newer entrants to stand on the same stage as incumbents.

Public Perception
Transparency of process and authenticity of claim are the currency of an awards programme. Integrity is the only protection of prestige.
