This competition is organized by Gulf News & BeingShe. Except where indicated otherwise, all copyright and other rights that subsist on the home page and in the sub-domain pages of the www.beingshe.com website are owned by BeingShe, #16, Ground Floor,Workspace Downtown Business Center, Sheikh Zayed Rd, Dubai, UAE

General Information

The Competition is open to individuals of all genders aged 18 years and above who are willing to submit their work according to the Award categories indicated on the website and the rules, for work created/published.

Applications

Entries may be made by a corporate, project or an individual submitting their own work, usually in exchange for an entry fee.

The types of media eligible are extremely broad depending on the category. Participants may submit any materials as supporting evidence. The main requirement is that the work is based on data/information and has a visual component.

All work must be submitted through the “BeingShe” website.

Entries will not be accepted via email or other channels unless the Organizer officially announces it via the Website or technical difficulties prevent the form or website from receiving submissions.

Submissions

The nominations are open until 31st July 2026.

Selection Criteria

A panel of judges will then choose a winner for each category. The panel of judges includes well-known industry experts.

The winners for each category will be announced during the awards ceremony in Dubai, followed by social media posts, an announcement on our website, and a profile feature by one of the nation’s leading publications – Gulf News.

Fees

To enter the competition, participants will have to pay a non-refundable nomination fee of AED 499 + 5% VAT.

For the purpose of elevating one’s personal profile, all winners will be required to select a PR & Media Package, which will include complete print and digital marketing deliverables.

  • Individual PR & Media Package: AED 30,000 + 5% VAT
  • Corporate PR & Media Packages: Starting from AED 40,000 + 5% VAT onwards

Payment for the selected package confirms acceptance of the PR & Media Package deliverables and confirms you as the award recipient.

Details of the packages will be discussed with shortlisted candidates only.

Responsibility for Materials Submitted

Any participant submitting an entry in the competition is responsible for the legality, originality, and copyright of the work submitted in their name.

By submitting your work on the website, you are not allowed to upload or distribute any document that is confidential, defamatory, obscene, violates personal privacy regulations, infringes copyright or intellectual property rights, violates the legal rights of any party, or belongs to another brand or company (except your own work submitted in your name).

We reserve the right to delete any offending material and remove the entry from the Awards.

Any participant submitting work through the website form must not use false contact information or identifying details, nor impersonate any person with the intention of misleading the Awards Jury.

Notifications

All entries submitted will not be returned in any format.

Gulf News & BeingShe Sustainability Excellence Awards – Full Terms and Conditions

Background

These Terms and Conditions (“Rules”) apply to entries submitted for the Gulf News & BeingShe Sustainability Excellence Awards (the “Competition”) operating on our website at www.beingshe.com (the “Website”).

By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these Rules.

1.2 The Competition is organized by BeingShe, #16, Ground Floor,Workspace Downtown Business Center, Sheikh Zayed Rd, Dubai, UAE. (the “Organizer”).

1.3 The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition or these Rules if an event outside of our reasonable control occurs (e.g., a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, or an Act of God). Any changes will be displayed on the Website.

1.4 The decision of the Organizer in relation to any dispute concerning these Rules, the conduct of the Competition, the results, and all other matters relating to the Competition shall be final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

1.5 A gala ceremony in Dubai will take place to celebrate the winners on November 2026 .

1.6 The Nomination and Participation Fee is strictly non-refundable.

Personal Data

The Organizer will not collect any personally identifiable information about you (your name, address, telephone number, or email address (“Personal Data”)) through the Website unless you have provided it through the registration form available on the Website.

Category Prizes

Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their profiles while competing with others in the same category. The winners in each category will be selected by an independent Jury Panel comprising well-known industry experts.

Digital Material

By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, the applicant/award recipient consents to and authorizes the use of photographs and videos obtained before, during, or after the Awards Ceremony by the Organizer’s media teams and authorized representatives.

The Organizer may use such material for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to sale, reproduction in all forms of media, publication, display, broadcast, exhibition, promotion, advertising, trade, marketing, or illustration.

The applicant/award recipient agrees that the photographs and videos may be used without compensation for an unlimited period and that this consent is irrevocable.

Additional Terms

  • The nomination and participation fee is strictly non-refundable.
  • All marketing materials, creative assets, promotional content, branding, certificates, trophies, advertisements, digital deliverables, videos, interviews, social media creatives, and other campaign materials are subject to the Organizer’s discretion and may be modified, replaced, or updated whenever necessary.
  • All media coverage, PR articles, interviews, editorial features, print publications, and digital deliverables are subject to editorial requirements, publication schedules, production constraints, and media partner approvals. The Organizer reserves the right to modify, replace, postpone, or amend any deliverable where necessary.
  • Any content published on BeingShe, Gulf News, or associated media platforms, including but not limited to articles, videos, interviews, photographs, reels, social media posts, advertisements, website content, and promotional materials, shall remain the property of the Organizer and respective media partners and cannot be changed, edited, removed, or withdrawn upon the request of any nominee, finalist, winner, organization, company, or third party.
  • PR & Media Packages are fixed. No upgrades, downgrades, substitutions, customizations, exchanges, or modifications shall be permitted once the package has been selected and payment has been made.
